The sample coverages are oringinally ArcInfo coverages in the Unix operating system. They are exported into *.e00 files and then compressed into *.e00.Z format. The compressed files take approximately 8Mb and the original coverages
take approximately 20Mb.
The primary source of the sample coverages is the Kansas
Data Access and Support Center.
The coverages should be used as samples to help get familiar with the
ArcInfo/SWAT interface. If the user uses the coverages for actual professional
