The Canada-United States Trade Center (CUSTAC)
The Canadian-United States Trade Center Web Site
CUSTAC was established in 1988 to conduct applied research on economic interactions and related issues between Canada and the United States and their respective international business partners. Special attention is given to the inter-country movements of commodities, services, technology, people, information, and capital. Additionally, the Center engages in policy-oriented studies on international trade and industry strategy, on the dynamics of cross-border regions, and on the emergence of a Western Hemisphere free trade area. The Center also provides various business-support services for small establishments located within the cross-border region. These missions of the Center provide a variety of opportunities for graduate-student research.
