Sue Roussie resides in Amherst New York with her two sons and studies Geographic Information Systems and Science.  She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1989. Following a career in computer networking Sue returned to the University of Buffalo in 2004 to obtain her Master of Arts and PhD in Geography.  In June of 2006 Sue received 1st place in the Geospatial Technology Competition held in Kansas City, Missouri.  In August 2007 Sue attended the Cyberinfrastructure Summer Institute for Geosciences, a weeklong workshop in San Diego at the San Diego Supercomputer Center.

She is a lifetime resident of the area and enjoys reading, kayaking, taming her puppy, and activities with her sons.
