Heath Robinson is from Birmingham, Alabama.  He has become interested in ontology's applications in political geography. He is also interested in geographic information science and increasing the role of regional geography in the United States Intelligence Community. Heath has received numerous awards for scholarship including The Award for Excellence of Scholarship by the National Council for Geographic Education and the Association of American Geographers in 2004, a scholarship from the United States Geospatial-Intelligence Foundation in 2006, and the Alpha Epsilon Lambda honorary for excellence in scholarship, leadership, and character for graduate studies.
