I am a doctoral student from the first cohort of NSF IGERT-GIS students. I was the first philosophy student in the program though we now have three philosophy students across all cohorts involved in this NSF research endeavor.

As a fourth-year student I have completed all coursework and am working on my dissertation. Broadly, my research falls within the philosophical areas of Metaphysics and Ontology. The dissertation will be an examination of the geographical nature of terrorism, its requisite ontological structure and definition, and its ramifications to current Just War theory.
