Barry Kronenfeld is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science at George Mason University. His research explores spatial data structures and modeling techniques for biogeographical research. Recent projects include reconstruction of eastern USA forests from presettlement survey data, representation of uncertainty in locations of origin of herbarium specimen, and estimation of point density and spatial pattern from distance-based sampling schemes.
